This 1970 Series 2 E-Type roadster is a right-hand-drive, UK-supplied car, first sold through Henlys of London in January 1970. It is finished in its original Pale Primrose Yellow, with navy leather and a navy canvas hood, and the Jaguar Heritage Certificate backs up its early ownership history.
Around 2002 and 2004 the car passed through Eagle, which fitted period-appropriate upgrades: better seats, power steering, uprated suspension and brakes, electronic ignition, a modern cooling system, an uprated heater and wider wire wheels on lower-profile tyres. In 2016 it then had a ground-up restoration by A J Autocraft. Body Beautiful of Bridgnorth did the panel and paint work, and GB Trim retrimmed the interior and roof.
The restoration is documented with more than 2,400 photographs and invoices totalling over £115,000. The history file also holds the Heritage Certificate, Eagle sales literature and service records. The private registration 133 EE is included in the sale. The page gives a mileage of 3,370.
