This is an early Series 1 E-Type open two-seater with the 3.8-litre engine, finished in Signal Red over black leather. It is left-hand drive, as it was first delivered new to Italy in 1962 and stayed there for 57 years.
The car is described as a fully matching-numbers example that remains largely original. Its Italian history is thinly documented, but the file includes FIVA papers showing it was registered with the Automotoclub Storico Italiano.
It was imported to the UK in 2019. Over £16,000 of mechanical work was carried out by Classic Motor Cars in the first four months. Winspeed of Guildford and Classic Performance Engineering have since maintained it, with a further £24,000 of invoices on file. Before sale it had a paint correction, engine bay and underside detail, and a fabric roof clean with sealant applied.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's published 3.8 XK figures: 265 bhp (SAE gross) and the claimed 150 mph. 0-60 is from road tests only and weight is not confirmed, so both are null.).
£79,995 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
