This is a Series 1.5 E-Type 2+2, the transitional cars built as Jaguar moved from Series 1 to Series 2. They keep the Series 1 character but gain open headlights, and relatively few were made. It is a manual 4.2-litre car finished in its original British Racing Green with a saddle leather interior.
The car has been fully restored at a stated cost of more than £60,000. The work included a rebuilt engine and gearbox, a new bonnet, a restored and refitted subframe, Coopercraft brakes and a stainless steel exhaust. The underside has been painted in gloss.
It shows 90,215 miles. The history file runs to six boxes of service records, with a pictorial book of the restoration, the original service pack from the supplying dealer and the original number plate. The seller has owned it for the last four years.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory rating of 265 bhp (gross) for the UK-spec 4.2 XK six with triple SU carburettors. Jaguar's published kerb weight, top speed and acceleration figures for this variant can't be confirmed, so they are null; period figures came from magazine road tests.).
£79,950 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
