This 1965 Jaguar E-Type is a Series 1 4.2 fixed head coupe, finished in Carmen red with a black leather interior. It is a UK-supplied, right-hand-drive car with a matching-numbers engine, and the 4.2 brought a stronger gearbox and more torque than the earlier 3.8.
It was fully restored in the early 2000s. The car was stripped to a bare tub and the whole job was photographed and recorded in the history file. The bonnet appears to be a new replacement. Upgrades made during the work include ventilated and drilled front discs with four-pot calipers, an improved servo, an aluminium radiator with an electric fan, a stainless exhaust, an alternator and a five-speed all-synchro gearbox. A fuel cut-off switch has been fitted, and the car has new chrome wire wheels on radial tyres.
The current owner has had it for five years, and there were five keepers before him. The page gives no mileage, so the odometer reading is unconfirmed.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory specification (265 bhp gross at 5,400 rpm, 4,235 cc XK straight-six). Weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the period figures that are quoted are mostly magazine road-test results, not published factory figures.).
£75,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
