This 1965 E-Type is an early Series 1 fixed-head coupé with the 4.2-litre straight-six. It was supplied new to Jaguar Cars New York and later repatriated to the UK, so it began life as an export car.
It has had a complete nut-and-bolt restoration by Jaguar specialist Pat Twinly of PT Automotive Engineering, finished this year. The paint is Primrose yellow over a black leather interior with black carpets. The original black seats were kept, piped in grey. The car stands on chrome triple-laced wire wheels fitted with slightly wider tyres than standard.
The page gives the mileage as about 61,000 from new. A large history file comes with the car, along with a photo book documenting the restoration. The restorer reportedly rates it among the best-driving E-Types he has handled.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory specifications for the 4.2 XK engine: 265 bhp gross (SAE) at 5,400 rpm, 4,235 cc. Weight, top speed and acceleration left null because the widely quoted figures come from magazine road tests, not Jaguar.).
£110,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
