This is an early right-hand-drive Series 1 E-Type fixed head coupe from 1962, with the original 3.8-litre engine. It is finished in dark Indigo Blue over grey leather and rides on painted knock-off wire wheels with nearly new tyres. The dealer describes it as a fully matching-numbers car. It was supplied new by Henleys and later passed through Coombes of Guildford.
The car has had a nut-and-bolt restoration and a full engine rebuild. Alongside that sit a number of modern upgrades aimed at making it usable every day. They include electronic ignition, a high-torque starter, an uprated cooling fan, Spax dampers, braided brake lines and a dual-circuit brake system with modern seals.
Indicated mileage is 82,911, believed correct, and the MOT record is unbroken for the past decade. The car is coming out of several years in storage and is being recommissioned by the dealer. It was previously offered by DK Engineering, which carried out a major service. The dealer says it sold the car two years ago at £145,000.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory spec: 3781cc XK straight-six, 265 bhp (gross) at 5500 rpm. The well-known 150 mph and 0-60 times come from period magazine road tests, not Jaguar data, so they are left null.).
£135,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
