This is a 1961 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Flat Floor Roadster, from the first year of production, before the floor pan was revised. The page puts the build at 631 cars, which makes it one of the rarest versions of the E-Type and the closest to Malcolm Sayer's original design.
It was delivered new in November 1961 through Jaguar Cars of New York, and is a left-hand-drive car with a four-speed manual gearbox and the 3,781cc XK six-cylinder engine. The colour scheme is the factory one of Masons Black over St James Red trim. It also has a factory hardtop, an option that adds to its appeal.
The car has been through a comprehensive restoration. The page gives no mileage, registration or ownership history, so a buyer will want to ask for the restoration records and the car's provenance documents.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar 1961 launch literature: 265 bhp (gross) 3781cc XK six, marketed at 150 mph; 0-60 and weight left null as period figures came from press road tests, not factory).
£144,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
