The 2.3 S was the sporting Mk4 Cortina, pairing Ford's V6 with sports suspension and power steering. It cost a good deal more than the ordinary Cortinas of the period. Production was low, and the page says only a couple of known examples remain in the UK.
This one is finished in orange with a black leather interior. It has been through a bare-shell restoration that kept as much of the original framework as possible, and the page puts the spend at over £60,000. The previous owner kept it for more than 12 years.
Upgrades include a tuned Haywood and Scott stainless exhaust and poly-bush suspension. A history file and a USB stick documenting the restoration come with the car. The dealer serviced and inspected it before sale. This car is now sold.
