Ford Capri 3.5 V8

This 1979 Ford Capri Mk III has been re-engineered around a 3.5-litre Rover V8, the same all-aluminium unit used in everything from the Rover SD1 to the MGB GT V8. Fitted with a wide-body conversion, it is a considerably more muscular proposition than a factory Capri.

Power goes through a BorgWarner T5 five-speed manual gearbox. Inside, the car has Recaro leather seats front and rear, and the engine bay has been finished to show standard.
