A first-year Mustang convertible with the 289 cubic-inch V8, finished in cream over black leather. It is left-hand drive and came to the UK in 1989, then stayed with one London owner for 31 years.
The car had a structural rebuild in 1995, including sandblasting of the bare shell, and a repaint in 2019. The V8 has a Holley four-barrel carburettor, Weiand intake manifold, uprated radiator and Pertronix electronic ignition. The C4 automatic gearbox and torque converter were overhauled by a specialist in 2011 and a shift kit was added. It sits on Magnum chrome wheels and has a power-folding hood.
