The Capri 2.0 S was one of the more accessible sporting Fords of its day, pairing fastback coupé styling with a rear-wheel-drive layout. This 1981 car is finished in black and keeps its original interior.
Its history is unusually well documented. Brian Davies bought it in 1984 and used it sparingly for leisure, then sold it in 1990 to Keith Wright, who kept it as a Sunday car. It was taken off the road and put into dry storage in 2007. Davies bought it back in 2014, and the registration was moved into the current owner's name in 2023, with DVLA correspondence in the history file.
The car has since been restored. The shell was taken back to bare metal, welded where needed and repainted. The engine and cylinder head were overhauled, the carburettor refurbished, and new brake discs, callipers, lines, fuel lines and tyres fitted. A May 2025 invoice from Deutsche Doktors Ltd records £54,000 of work. No mileage is stated on the page.
