The Fiat 520 was the Italian maker's upmarket six-cylinder car of the late 1920s, and this 1928 Tourer carries the 2.2-litre engine in a light open body. The dealer positions it against contemporary Rolls-Royce 20hp cars, which gives a sense of the class Fiat was aiming at.
It has been fully restored in Germany and has covered few miles since. The engine has been rebuilt and fitted with a correct carburettor. The paint is primrose yellow over tobacco brown. Inside are new cream fluted upholstery and beige carpets, and there is a new black canvas hood with a matching hood bag.
New tyres are fitted on artillery-style wheels, including the two side-mounted spares, and a strap-on motoring trunk is included. It is on a German registration with the green Fahrzeugbrief, so EEC taxes are paid for European buyers. The car is currently in the Dordogne, France. The chassis number is 216875.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Fiat period specs: 2,244 cc side-valve six at 46 PS (≈45 bhp). Weight and top speed left null because no verified factory figure for the Tourer was found.).
