Fiat 131 Abarth Rally Evocation

This is a tribute to the Fiat 131 Abarth that won the 1977 Tour de Corse, finished in the blue and yellow Olio Fiat livery. It was built in 2014 by Finnish builder Pertti Minetti on a genuine two-door 131 donor car, so it is a recreation, not a Works car.

The history is unusual. It was displayed at the Mobilia Rally Museum and the Vaasa Car Museum in Finland between 2015 and 2018, and it ran in the Historic Rally Hall of Fame at the 2018 Rally Finland. Markku Alén drove it twice on the Harju stage and signed the dashboard. The current owner bought it in Finland and imported it, and it was first registered in the UK in March 2026.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre Fiat twin-cam with twin Weber 44 carburettors, a five-speed gearbox and a limited-slip differential. The car has a reinforced chassis, a roll cage, Sparco bucket seats with harnesses and a hydraulic handbrake. Timo Lintunen may have been involved in the engine build, but no paperwork backs that up. It comes with a new MSA logbook and a Motorsport UK FIA Regularity Run Passport. A steering wheel was fitted in May 2026, and front discs, pads and calipers in June 2026.
