This is a right-hand-drive 365 GTB/4 Daytona, the last of Ferrari's front-engined V12 road cars of its era, in the early pop-up headlight form. Only 158 were built for the UK market, and this one is finished in Auteuil silver, a colour used on 22 of them, with a blue interior that was specified on just seven.
It shows 34,562 miles in total: 21,889 documented since 1973 and 12,673 before that. It has had six main owners, and was repainted red over black from 2004 to 2014 before being returned to factory colours. A recent rebuild is quoted at £200,000, and the interior was retrimmed by O'Rourke's. It won its class at the 2010 Ferrari Owners Club Concours.
The car has a Ferrari Classiche red book confirming matching numbers and original colours. It has been maintained in the UK by Ferrari dealers and specialists, and comes with an indexed history file that includes copies of the factory order and invoice. The price is on application.
