1992 Ferrari 348 TS

The 348 TS is the targa-topped version of Ferrari's early-90s Pininfarina-penned V8, and this 1992 K-registered car has covered just 8,615 miles. That is very low use for a 348, a model whose values have been helped by its analogue character and the shrinking supply of unmolested, low-mileage cars. It is finished in Rosso Corsa over a Crema leather interior with Castoro light brown carpets, a classic Ferrari combination.

Power comes from the 3.4-litre mid-mounted V8, which makes 296 bhp and 229 ft-lb, and it is paired with a five-speed open-gated manual. Ferrari quotes 0-62 mph in around 6 seconds and a top speed of 166 mph. There is no electronic intervention to speak of, so the driving experience is mechanical and direct, and the removable targa roof lets the engine's sound in.

The specification includes air conditioning, electric windows, a smoking package and the original factory tool kit, which is a useful sign of completeness on a car of this age. At £89,995 it is priced as a properly preserved example rather than a runner, and it is offered through Premier GT's West Sussex showroom.
