The 275 GTS is the open-topped, Pininfarina-bodied sibling of the 275 GTB, pairing a Colombo V12 with a rear-mounted transaxle and independent rear suspension. This left-hand-drive car, chassis 06817, was ordered new in April 1965 and supplied by Franco Britannic Motors of Paris. It is finished in Rosso over Nero.
It is Ferrari Classiche certified and comes with its Ferrari red book folder. The odometer reads 55,000 miles. It rides on its original rechromed Borrani wire wheels with four newish tyres, and a thick history file holds bills for work by well-known specialists, said to total many tens of thousands of pounds.
The car has been registered in both Austria (VL82A) and the UK (KYY460C). It is part of a private collection near Velden in Austria, where it can be viewed by appointment and is used sparingly in the local Alps. The page marks the price as "Accepted", which suggests an offer has been agreed.
