The 275 GTB/4 is the four-cam development of Ferrari's 1960s V12 berlinetta, with a torque-tube five-speed transmission and independent suspension all round. Only 330 were built plus one prototype, and just 31 of them were right-hand drive. This is chassis 09261, the second RHD car made, ordered through Maranello Concessionaires in 1966 for its first owner, Robin Houry.
The history is unusually colourful. Ferrari shipped the car straight to Mombasa, and it raced in East Africa with the East African Motor Sports Club before returning to the UK in 1970. Later owners include the illustrator James Allington, who restored it in 1975, and Eric Clapton, who commissioned DK Engineering to restore it in 2003-04 and return it to its original colour. Ferrari Classiche certified it in 2010, confirming matching numbers for chassis, engine and gearbox.
The current owner bought it in January 2022 and spent about two years on a bare-metal body restoration, returning the car to its original Grigio Argento. The page puts the cost at almost £190k, with a further £25k on retrimming the interior. A large file of Maranello Concessionaires correspondence comes with it. The price is on application, and no mileage or registration is given.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ferrari factory figures (300 CV at 8,000 rpm, 268 km/h). Ferrari quoted only a dry weight (about 1,100 kg), not kerb weight. No official 0-60 time.).
