Ferrari 275 GTB Berlinetta

This is a Series 1 short-nose Ferrari 275 GTB, chassis 06931, and one of only 18 built in right-hand drive. The 275 introduced independent rear suspension to a road-going Ferrari, with a rear-mounted five-speed transaxle and a 3.3-litre Colombo V12. Many regard the early short-nose cars as the purest of the line.

It was delivered new to Eric Dennis Garrett in London, in Rosso Cina with a black interior, and still wears its original DYX 6 C registration. The history file includes early build sheets and correspondence between Garrett and Colonel Ronnie Hoare of Maranello Concessionaires. In 1982 it passed to Heinz Hove in Germany at 7,700 miles, and he used it at Ferrari events. It was featured in Motor Klassik in 1994 and showed 39,800 miles in 2007.

DK Engineering acquired the car in 2013 and restored it to factory specification. It was shown at the 2014 Salon Privé and has been maintained by DK since. It now shows 53,213 miles and comes with a large history file and the correct toolkit. The price is on application.
