This is not an original 250 GT SWB but a recreation, completed in 2018-2019 for former Le Mans winner Vern Schuppan. The car was built around a 250 GTE donor sourced by Christos Vlahos, formerly of Ferrari Classiche, with a new lightweight thin-gauge steel body made by Bacchelli & Villa, the Modena firm behind Schuppan's Steve McQueen 275 GTB/4 restoration.
Mechanically it follows competition-specification SWB practice: a genuine Ferrari V12 with Weber carburettors, an original four-speed competition gearbox and a high-ratio 8.35 differential. Giuseppe Garuti assembled and installed the engine and mechanicals. The page lists 276 bhp.
The odometer reads 1,394 km (about 866 miles). Build documentation, including correspondence with the Ferrari factory, and a photographic record of the work are said to be available.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine layout from Ferrari heritage data (Colombo 3.0 V12). Power, weight and performance left null because road (Lusso) and competition (Competizione) cars had different outputs and no single factory figure is certain.).
£1,749,995 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
