This is a Ferrari 250 GT Drogo, a competition car built around an original 250 GTE 2+2 by GTO Engineering. It carries aluminium bodywork in the style of the Piero Drogo-bodied Ferrari racers, finished by Lawrence Kett / G&A Fabrications in red and pale blue, inspired by the Maranello Concessionaires colours.
The car was found partially assembled in a Turin bodyshop in the late 1990s and later completed for its current owner. It has been raced widely in Europe by Larry and Nathan Kinch, with appearances at the Nürburgring Oldtimer Grand Prix, Silverstone Classic, Spa Classic, Imola Classic, Pau Historique and Dix Mille Tours. Laurence Pearce later worked on its development, including suspension, anti-tramp modifications and the fuel system.
It currently runs a 3.8-litre V12 built by Roelofs Engineering, with a rebuilt competition gearbox. The original 250 GTE engine (2391 GT) and gearbox (508E 55967) come with the car. It has full FIA papers and is UK road registered with a V5. Two exhaust systems and a spare set of wheel rims are included. Price is on application.
