Listed today at SuperVettura, Sunningdale. Last checked today.
The Boano-bodied 250 GT is one of the lesser-seen early Ferrari road cars. Pinin Farina could not keep pace with demand for the 250, so production passed to Carrozzeria Boano, run by Mario Felice Boano, and only 74 cars were built. This one, chassis 0651 GT, was completed on 28 March 1957 and is powered by the 2,953cc V12, rated at 220hp.
Its history is traced across several countries. The first owner was Mr Giles Richard in France, and the car went to the USA in the 1960s. It was bought by Mr Michelsen in London in the late 1970s, then moved to Denmark in 2000 as part of a large collection, returning to the UK in 2019.
The car is left-hand drive with a steel body and is Ferrari Classiche certified. It is finished in red. The price is on application and no mileage is stated.
