The Sprint was introduced in 2016 to mark 60 years of the original Lotus Seven, and was built in a strictly limited run of 60 cars. It borrows from the earliest Sevens with flared front wings, cream-painted steel wheels with polished hubcaps, chrome details and a traditionally styled interior.
Power comes from Suzuki's 660cc turbocharged three-cylinder engine, producing 80 bhp and driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox. With a weight of little over 500 kg, it is a light and direct car rather than a quick one.
This 2017 example is finished in Camberwick Green and has covered just 850 miles from new, with one owner on record.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Caterham Cars launch figures for the 60-unit Seven Sprint, 2016; weight omitted because Caterham quoted dry weight, not kerb.).
