Caterham Seven 170R

The 170R is the sharp end of Caterham's entry-level Seven range: a turbocharged 660cc Suzuki engine in a car light enough that outright power matters far less than the way it feels. It is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, and it remains one of the most direct ways to experience a Seven.

This example is finished in Exocet Red with a black swoosh stripe and lettering. It has the R Pack, which adds a limited-slip differential and a lightweight flywheel, along with the sport suspension pack, 14-inch black Juno wheels and a Track Day roll bar. Lowered floors, black leather seats and a suede Momo steering wheel with quick release suit it to both road and circuit use.

It shows 1,350 miles from new. Road equipment includes the full windscreen, hood and side screens, a heater and a fully carpeted interior, and there is a battery master cut-off switch.
