The Super 600 occupies an interesting position in Caterham's current lineup: it's the most accessible Seven in terms of power output, but the experience is anything but diluted. Powered by a 660cc turbocharged three-cylinder Suzuki engine — derived from Japanese kei-car engineering — it produces around 84bhp in a car weighing approximately 490kg. That power-to-weight ratio, combined with the Seven's unassisted steering and near-total absence of electronic aids, delivers the kind of raw mechanical feedback that larger, more powerful cars struggle to replicate. It's the model Caterham recommends for those new to the Seven world, and for good reason.

The Super 600 was introduced as a factory-built, road-legal car from the outset — no self-build process required — and comes with Caterham's standard warranty coverage. At this mileage, the engine and drivetrain will be barely run in.

For buyers after the authentic Seven experience without the intimidating outputs of the 420R or 620R, the Super 600 makes a strong case. It won't embarrass itself on track either — in a car this light, the focus falls entirely on driver skill and mechanical connection rather than outright speed.
