Listed today at William I'Anson. Last checked today.
This is chassis 255/R, a reconstruction of BRM's front-engined P25 Grand Prix car. Work began in the 1960s with the backing of BRM and its parent company, Rubery Owen. That makes it an earlier project than the replicas built by Tom Wheatcroft. It combines original parts with components supplied by BRM, and the chassis work and assembly were done by former BRM staff in Bourne.
The car has a long competitive record in historic racing from 1978. It won the 1980 French Grand Prix support race, a result that led to the formation of the HGPCA. More recently it won the Richmond Trophy at the 2021 Goodwood Revival, in BRM's 70th anniversary year.
Hall & Hall, BRM specialists, maintain it. It has a new Hall & Hall BRM 2.5-litre engine, quoted at 285hp. It is eligible for HGPCA events and Goodwood. The page makes no mention of a price, which is not stated.
