The BRM P154 was built for the 1970 Can-Am series, and this is chassis number 02. Pedro Rodriguez drove it in the last three rounds of that season, finishing ninth at Donnybrook, fifth at Laguna Seca and third at Riverside.
In 1971 David Hepworth bought the BRM P154s with the aim of racing them in the European Inter-Series. His commitment to the British Hillclimb Championship delayed that until 1972. Records show he used chassis number 1 for all his races. Chassis 02 was stripped and painted in team colours for a paying driver who never appeared, and it stayed that way until its full restoration.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BRM's 1970 Can-Am racing car (Tony Southgate design, Chevrolet-based V8). It was a works competition car, not a production model, so there are no published factory figures. Performance numbers left null; only the basic layout is given.).
