This is a Speed 8 special built by Racing Green Engineering in the spirit of the pre-war Bentley sporting cars. It was constructed for its current owner, so it is effectively a new car in vintage dress rather than an original 1950 survivor.
The specification is built for use. It has four SU H.6 carburettors with a choice of mechanical or twin electric fuel pumps, a large-bore stainless exhaust, and a four-speed Bentley gearbox with a choice of final-drive ratios. Braking is by drum brakes at all four corners, with a mechanical servo. The car sits on 21-inch wire wheels with knock-on spinners.
The body is ash-framed and aluminium-panelled, covered in wadding and rexine, with a nickel radiator shell and a double duck hood. It is finished in green with maroon leather. The car has covered about 800 shakedown miles, and the dealer says full details are to follow. The chassis number and registration are not yet given, and the car is in Kassel, Germany.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Special built by Racing Green on a 1950 Bentley donor chassis, not a factory Bentley model, so there are no manufacturer figures. Performance and engine figures left blank; only basic layout given.).
