This is one of just sixteen left-hand-drive S1 Continentals bodied by H.J.Mulliner to Design No 7443, the six-light Flying Spur. Introduced to give Bentley buyers a four-door Continental with more luggage space, George Moseley's design stayed in production for the whole S Type run until 1966.
Chassis BC44LFM was finished in April 1959 and supplied through Rolls-Royce Inc New York to its first owner in Oklahoma City. It was ordered with factory air conditioning and power windows, both unusual for the period. It later has the late-specification mechanical upgrades, and seat belts have since been fitted.
Ownership is documented from new. The car changed hands in 1982 and again in 1986, then came to the UK with the current owner in 1988. It won its class at the 1997 Louis Vuitton Concours d'Elegance in Paris. It is now finished in black over tan leather, and comes with small tools, factory build sheets and maintenance history.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Bentley S1 Continental engine specification (4,887cc inline-six); Rolls-Royce/Bentley never published power output, and no factory-published weight or performance figures for the H.J. Mulliner coachbuilt Flying Spur are known, so those are null. Not a limited edition with an announced build number.).
£285,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
