Bentley S3 Saloon

The S3 was the last of Bentley's separate-chassis S-Series cars, built from 1962 to 1965 and recognisable by its twin-headlamp front end. It uses the 6.2-litre aluminium V8 introduced on the S2, paired with a four-speed automatic gearbox. This 1963 saloon was sold new through Jack Barclay, and the original typed sales invoice is in the history file.

The car has had three keepers in its life. A bare-metal respray in Rolls-Royce Oxford Blue was carried out in 1996, with the headlining replaced at the same time. The current owner, who bought it in 2014, had around £40,000 of brake, suspension and engine bay work done in the first year. A full coachwork and interior restoration finished in 2024 at a cost of more than £100,000. That included refurbished chrome and wood, red hand-painted coachlines and air conditioning fitted discreetly.

The original grey leather interior, burr walnut veneers, Wilton carpets and rear picnic tables remain, and the original radio has been fitted with modern DAB internals. The displayed mileage is 95,410 and the service history is described as specialist. The car is currently shown as having a deposit taken.
