Bentley S3 Continental Flying Spur

The S3 Continental Flying Spur wears HJ Mulliner coachwork on an aluminium-bodied frame, and only 68 were built, each to its first owner's specification. This 1966 car, chassis BC114XE, is finished in Astral Blue over cream and is described as being in its original body colour. It has the 6.2-litre V8 with a four-speed automatic gearbox.

It was supplied new through Jack Barclay to Sir Alfred McAlpine & Sons, with electric windows, an electric aerial and tinted glass. The first MoT on file, from 1976, shows just 2,002 miles. By 1989 it had 39,423 miles, and in 1991 Peter Fischer rebuilt the drivetrain, brakes, steering and suspension, resetting the odometer.

In 1993 it went to Hong Kong, where it stayed with one keeper. It had a bare-metal respray and a second full restoration in Miami in 1997, then a further restoration in New Zealand in 2008. The page gives 56,700 miles, with about 3,000 covered since 2008, and says annual servicing was kept up. It has now been shipped to the UK with UK taxes paid.
