Listed today at Frank Dale, Sandhurst. Last checked today.
This S2 Continental carries H.J. Mulliner's Design No 7514 two-door coachwork, widely regarded as the most graceful of the bodies fitted to the chassis. Only 71 were built in right-hand drive, and the aluminium body was made to order at Mulliner's west London works.
Chassis BC51AR was completed in April 1960 in Velvet Green with beige leather, the combination it still wears. It was supplied new by Jack Barclay to a first owner in west London. Between 1989 and 1992 Broughtons restored it, body off, over three years. A photographic record of the work comes with the car, along with service records, copy chassis cards, a handbook and a history file.
The car has air conditioning, fitted on the rear parcel shelf. It has passed through Frank Dale twice, and the dealer's own Frank Dale used it for a period. One earlier owner took it on rallies across Europe. No mileage is stated.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Bentley/Rolls-Royce factory specification for the 6,230 cc L-series V8 chassis. The factory never published power (only called it 'adequate'). No official weight, top speed or acceleration figures were issued for the H.J. Mulliner coachbuilt body, so those are null.).
£275,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
