This is a 1960 Bentley S2 Continental with drophead coupe coachwork by Park Ward, a right-hand-drive car the dealer says is one of only 60 built. The Continental was the coachbuilt, high-speed end of the S2 range, and open Park Ward bodies are among the rarer ones.
It was first finished in Old English White with a blue-grey interior. The long-term owner bought it in the late 1970s from a farmer in Suffolk and had it serviced in London. He later shipped it to the United States, where it was stripped and repainted in Rolls-Royce Vermillion Red, with Magnolia Connolly leather inside. Before choosing the scheme he corresponded with Osmond Rivers, the retired Hooper chief designer, who suggested red with a light interior.
Body and mechanical restoration was done by Elite Rolls-Royce in Chicago, with the trim by Beil Auto Upholstery. The car was used on several American road trips and is shown at 57,000 miles. It is currently in Chicago. The page shows the price as accepted, so it is probably under offer.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Bentley/Rolls-Royce published L-series 6,230 cc V8 specification; power was never officially published ('adequate'), and no factory weight, top speed or acceleration figures are confirmed for the Park Ward coachbuilt body).
£245,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
