This S1 Continental carries the H.J. Mulliner fastback body, built to Design No 7400. It is the fourth of only 22 made in left-hand drive. The design was reworked for the S1's chassis, which is 3 inches longer than the R Type's. It has a higher front wing line and slimmer rear wings with new swage lines. Many regard it as one of the best-looking coachbuilt Bentleys of the 1950s.
Chassis BC51LAF was completed in January 1956 in red with beige leather. It was supplied through Garage de l'Athenee in Geneva to its first owner, and it stayed in Switzerland until 2025. Only three owners are recorded from new. Work in 2023 included a re-trim and the overhaul of various mechanical components. The car is now finished in Brewster Green over beige leather.
The dealer's workshop has since carried out mechanical preparation and a cosmetic refresh. The car comes with its original handbook, tools, copy chassis cards, a FIVA identity card and a period Continental brochure. No mileage is stated.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Bentley Motors S1 Continental specification (4,887cc six); Bentley never stated power output and performance figures were road-test rather than factory data, so these are left null.).
