The S1 Continental with H.J. Mulliner's fastback coachwork is one of the defining British grand tourers of the 1950s. This one, chassis BC53AF, is an early car with the single master cylinder braking system, first registered in January 1956.
It is finished in its original Midnight Blue, repainted to a high standard, with body lines the dealer describes as crisp and ripple-free. Inside, the original cream leather and burr walnut woodwork are reported to be in very fine order. The odometer reads 97,000 miles, and the car has been in long-term ownership for several decades.
The car is currently registered in Austria on Austrian plates and is part of a small private collection. It can be driven away on those plates or registered in the UK for the new owner. A large history file of bills documents its maintenance over the years. Viewing is near Villach.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Bentley Motors S1 Continental specification (4,887cc six); Bentley never stated power output and performance figures were road-test rather than factory data, so these are left null.).
