This is a 1936 Derby Bentley 4¼ Litre, chassis B172GA, with drophead coupe coachwork by Hooper. It is the second of only three cars built to Hooper's Design No 6357, finished in dark green and black over brown leather, and is right-hand drive.
The ownership record is unbroken from new. The car was delivered in May 1936 to Major Sir Robert Spencer-Nairn of Fife and stayed around Edinburgh until 1987, then passed through owners in Wales before reaching its current keepers in 1994. They have had it for thirty years. It comes with the original 1936 registration book and a file of records that stretches back to the 1950s.
Work over that time includes an engine overhaul, rewiring, coachwork restoration, retrimming and a new hood, carried out by specialists including Brunts of Silverdale and Alpine Eagle. A higher-ratio rear axle has been fitted for more relaxed cruising. The car has been used for touring in the UK and abroad, and it won the best pre-war car trophy at the 2021 RREC Northern Concours.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the engine layout is given (4,257 cc inline six, twin SU carburettors). Bentley/Rolls-Royce never published power figures, and weight and performance depended on each Hooper coachbuilt body, so those figures are null.).
£150,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
