This 1935 Derby Bentley 3½ Litre wears a sedanca coupe body by H.J. Mulliner, one of the more elegant coachbuilt forms of the pre-war "silent sports car". Chassis B203CW is registered BXP114 and is described as largely original, still with its original tool kit.
One family owned it for 50 years. Since then it has had a mechanical restoration, a repaint in British Racing Green and new green hides throughout. A Tim Payne overdrive has been fitted for relaxed high-speed touring. Recent work includes a new fuel tank, attention to the rear suspension and a complete rewire in period-correct colours.
The current long-term owner has toured it widely, including across Europe, twice on BDC Tours in Australia and on a trip in Borneo. It has won several concours awards, and the owner's wife took first prize among pre-war Bentleys at a rally in St. Moritz. The dealer notes the price has been accepted, and that the car was due to arrive at its showroom shortly.
