Chassis S004 is the fourth Vantage N24 built by Prodrive, one of only a few dozen GT4 cars made from the V8 Vantage road car. The N24 programme began in 2007. Aston Martin built the first 14 cars, and Prodrive then built a further 39. Each car was stripped by about 250kg and given engine, suspension, brake and aerodynamic changes.
This one was bought new by Concord Motorsport for the first Aston Martin Asia Cup season in 2008. It won the Asia Cup in 2009, took the GT4 Asia Plus Team Championship in 2010 and scored the most points in that series in 2011. A new 4.7-litre engine was fitted for the 2011 season.
Desmond J Smail bought it from Concord in 2013 and stored it dry at first. Mardi Gras Motorsport then rebuilt the engine, gearbox and suspension and repainted the bodywork. The page says it has seen minimal use since. It is a race car, and the page gives no mileage or registration.
