About this car

This is chassis S028, the twenty-eighth Vantage N24 built by Prodrive. The N24 was Aston Martin's GT4 racer based on the V8 Vantage. Only around 53 were made: 14 by Aston Martin itself and 39 by Prodrive. Each car was stripped to save about 250kg and given engine, suspension, brake and aerodynamic changes for an extra 30bhp.

Concord Motorsport bought it part-way through the inaugural 2008 Aston Martin Asia Cup season. It won the 2009 Asia Cup, then took the GT4 Asia Plus Team Championship in 2010 and had the highest points score in that class in 2011. For 2011 it received a new 4.7-litre engine.

Desmond J Smail bought it from Concord in 2013. Mardi Gras Motorsport rebuilt the engine, gearbox and suspension and repainted the bodywork. He raced it between 2014 and 2020, and it has been prepared and dry-stored since. The price is on application.
