Aston Martin V8 Volante EFi

This 1988 V8 Volante is a late car with Electronic Fuel Injection, the final specification of the long-running Newport Pagnell V8 convertible. It was delivered new in August 1988 through Aston Martin Sales in London, and the dealer says it is one of only two UK-specification EFi Volantes finished in Cannock Black. The interior is Magnolia hide with a black Everflex hood and black Wilton wool carpets, and it has the optional automatic gearbox.

It shows 25,000 miles from new. Its owners include the late Steve O'Rourke, the Pink Floyd manager who raced at Le Mans with his own EMKA Group C car. Nicholas Mee bought it from his estate in 2005, and the next owner kept it for 17 years before the current vendor bought it back in 2022. The page lists five previous owners.

Changes from standard are an upgraded suspension, Vantage 16-inch wheels and a Nardi wood-rimmed steering wheel. The original wheel is included. The car comes with a leather-bound history file containing the stamped service book, handbook, service invoices and MoT certificates back to 2001. It also has its tool roll, spare keys, jack and warning triangle. The dealer includes a service and a 12-month warranty.
