Aston Martin V8 Saloon EFI

This is a 1988 Aston Martin V8 in fuel-injected EFI form, from the last years of the Newport Pagnel V8 line. Only 60 cars were built between 1986 and 1989, 43 of them right-hand drive. This one has the three-speed Chrysler Torqueflite automatic and the 5.3-litre V8, quoted at 315 bhp.

It was ordered new through Aston Martin Sales in London and delivered on 4 January 1988 in Winchester Blue. The trim is Magnolia leather with dark blue piping, walnut veneer, Wilton carpets and a fawn leather roof lining. It sits on period BBS wheels and was first registered RBN 2. It has had two keepers listed, and the current owner bought it in February 1999 after a road test report from the Aston Martin Service and Restoration Department at Newport Pagnel.

The owner has since had the underside stripped to bare metal and refinished, and the inner and outer sills replaced, with the work documented. The car has won numerous concours events and was driven to them. It shows 69,500 miles and is priced with no VAT.
