Aston Martin V8 Oscar India

This 1978 Aston Martin V8 is an early example of the revised Oscar India series, delivered new to County Motor Garage in Scotland in November 1978, a month after the update was shown at the Birmingham motor show. The revisions brought a reprofiled bonnet, a small lip spoiler on the boot lid and a burr walnut dashboard. It was ordered with the optional five-speed manual gearbox, which makes it uncommon.

It is finished in its original Jubilee Silver with Burgundy hides. The odometer reads 48,739 miles, and the page lists seven previous owners.

The chassis, body and paintwork have been restored. The engine was fully rebuilt and a new balanced clutch fitted in 2017, and the car has covered about 1,500 miles since then. The history file contains parts and maintenance invoices, the factory build record and old MoT certificates. The car is sold serviced, with 12 months of warranty.
