This Series 1 V8 Volante is a left-hand-drive car with the ZF five-speed manual gearbox, a specification built in very small numbers. It was built for British Motors S.A. of Paris and shown at the 1984 Paris Auto Salon, and a plaque on the centre console records the appearance.
It was finished in Windsor Red over Beige Autolux hide, with dark red piping, red carpets and a fawn hood. A Parisian owner bought it later in the same month. It keeps its matching-numbers 5.3-litre V8, and the odometer reads 51,177 kilometres.
R.S. Williams is offering it as a donor car for a bespoke restoration, with scope and specification to be agreed with the buyer. Copies of the factory build record and warranty agreement come with it. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine layout from Aston Martin factory specification (5,340cc quad-cam V8, Newport Pagnell). In this era Aston Martin did not officially publish power figures and I can't confirm any factory performance or weight figures for the 1984 car, so those are left blank.).
