This 1980 Aston Martin V8 Volante began life as a North American-specification car, delivered new to the USA in Dubonnet with natural leather and settled in California. It later went to Australia, then returned to the UK with European bumpers fitted, and was planned for conversion to European specification and right-hand drive.
Aston Martin Works sold it to the current owner, fitting a new tan hood and refinishing the car in black. The engine has since been overhauled and enlarged to 6.0 litres by David Eales at Oselli, paired with a six-speed Tremec manual gearbox in place of the original transmission.
The interior trim has been fully restored, with the leather dyed rather than painted, and the suspension and brakes have been overhauled and set up. It shows 18,300 miles. The page lists the steering as left-hand drive. Price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the engine layout is given: the 5,340cc carburettor V8, built at Newport Pagnell. Aston Martin didn't publish power output then, and I'm not confident of any official weight or performance figures, so those are null.).
