An early Aston Martin V8 Volante, completed at the factory on 25 May 1979 as chassis V8COR/15085. It was ordered new by Gerald Grosvenor, the 6th Duke of Westminster, and later became the personal car of Richard and Carol Williams of R.S. Williams, who kept it for many years as a family car.
The original build specification included Weber carburettors, automatic transmission, a Pioneer 9300 stereo and an off-white hood. The car now wears a black mohair hood, and it is finished in Imperial Burgundy over black Connolly hide with black carpets. The cabin has figured wood veneers and factory air conditioning.
It has covered about 34,900 miles from new and has been maintained by the R.S. Williams workshops for decades. The engine number, V/540/5085/S, is said to match both the chassis plate and the factory record. It is right-hand drive.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine and layout from Aston Martin specifications. Aston Martin did not publish power for this period and called it only 'sufficient', and I can't confirm any official weight or performance figures, so those are left null.).
