The V580X, or X-Pack, was the last and most powerful of the William Towns-designed V8 Vantage coupes. This one is the first right-hand-drive car built with an automatic gearbox. Only 11 RHD cars left the factory that way, out of 131 X-Pack cars built worldwide, according to the dealer.
It was built in 1987 to UK specification, with carburettor fuelling, a three-speed automatic, a mph speedometer and right-hand drive. It was registered on 21 December 1987 and went back to Aston Martin Works for its first service in early January 1988. The car is finished in Kensington Silver metallic over black Connolly hide, with black Wilton carpets and burr walnut trim. The engine carries the brass builder's plaque of Don Osborne.
The page says the car was restored by UK specialists, with the work completed in 2019, and that it has covered under 1,000 miles since. The original service book, build records and an AM Heritage certificate are on file. The dealer has known the car for around 20 years. No price or odometer reading is given.
