Built at Newport Pagnell in July 1998, this Vantage left the factory in V550 specification and was supplied new through Auto Performance in Paris. Its first owner was the Norwegian industrialist and art collector Christen Sveaas, and the original pre-delivery inspection sheet and order form are on file.
In 2006 a UK collector sent it to Aston Martin Works Service for conversion to V600 Driving Dynamics specification. The work included uprated springs, Koni dampers and anti-roll bars, larger front brakes, a large-bore Super Sport exhaust, traction control and the V600 grille and badging. Seventeen pages of invoices itemise it. The car has covered 7,921 miles since the conversion, and the page gives the total as 7,800 miles.
The car is finished in Antrim Blue metallic, which the dealer says is one of only six cars in that colour. The interior is Parchment with blue piping and Alcantara headlining. Options include heated, reclining and massaging seats, heated headlamps and windscreen, and tyre pressure monitors. Price is on application.
