The Series IV, or Oscar India, arrived in October 1978 with revised damper settings, a leather headlining, burr walnut on the dash and door cappings, a discreet rear spoiler and improved air conditioning. It also has the bonnet bulge for the carburettors, with the dummy intake closed off. This car was first registered in May 1980 and is finished in Sebring Blue Metallic over Magnolia leather.
It has covered 87,818 miles, and the MOT history shows very little use since 2000. It has had three owners from new and won a string of concours awards in the 1980s, including firsts at Doune, Hendon and Silverstone. The file includes the original handbook, service vouchers and a long record of specialist servicing, with sill replacement and a rebuilt automatic gearbox among the work.
The dealer reports over £5,500 spent on pre-sale mechanical work, with recent attention to the fuel pump, starter motor and carburettor settings. It also notes some electrolysis visible around the screens.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin factory engine data (5,340cc V8). Aston Martin didn't publish power figures then, and the widely quoted performance figures come from magazine road tests, so they are left null.).
