This Aston Martin V8 left Newport Pagnell in February 1977. The factory build sheet records Dark Blue non-metallic paint over Fawn trim, with Sandringham Beige carpets. It is an automatic car, and its engine was rebuilt to Vantage specification by Aston Engineering in January 1992, at about 43,000 miles.

The history is unusually well documented. The car passed through a series of private owners, one of whom had it restored in the late 1980s with new sills, suspension and brake work and a bare-metal respray in the original blue. It came to Desmond J Smail in 2008, then went to a collector who kept it dry stored and unused. It returned to the dealer in 2022.
