Listed today at Aston Engineering, Derby.
This 1966 DB6 Vantage was supplied new on 30 June 1966 and is a matching-numbers car. It has the five-speed ZF manual gearbox, which is less common than the automatic. The DB6 was the longer-wheelbase, higher-roofed successor to the DB5, and is recognisable by its Kamm tail and split bumpers.
It still wears its original colour combination of Silver Birch with black trim. It has had a complete body-off restoration, which won numerous concours awards. A large collection of trophies goes with the car.
The history file is extensive and includes the original green logbook. The car has just had a full service. The page shows it as sold.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin factory claims of the period: 325 bhp (gross) from the 3,995 cc triple-Weber Vantage engine. Top speed, 0-60 and weight are left blank because reliable published factory figures could not be confirmed.).
