This is a 1967 Aston Martin DB6 that has been rebuilt and re-bodied as a replica of the short-chassis Volante. Only 37 original short-chassis Volantes were built, so the car recreates one of the rarest open Astons of the period rather than being one itself.
The new bodywork was made by Bodylines of Olney using original bucks and is finished in Steel Blue. Inside, the Portland Grey hide trim is by Piper Trimming of Yeovil, with blue Boyriven carpet and a dark blue mohair hood. The engine has been uprated to 4.2 litres, and the mechanical parts have been either replaced with new Aston Martin components or rebuilt. The five-speed ZF manual gearbox was rebuilt by BPA.
The dealer reports under 1,000 miles since the rebuild, with 500 miles shown on the listing, so the engine is still run in. The price has been reduced by £100,000 to £525,000, and the dealer welcomes inspection.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin's quoted gross output for the 4.0-litre Tadek Marek straight-six. Production ran 1965–66, so "1967 model year" may be a registration date. About 37 were built, but this is a production total, not an announced limited run. Weight, top speed and 0–60 are not reliably published as factory figures for this variant, so they are left null.).
£525,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
